The Minds That Made Live Longer, Inc. Possible

Dimitri Villard, M.S. Founder & CEO

Dimitri Villard is the founder and CEO of Live Longer, Inc., the company behind Juvelixir. He spent decades at the intersection of science, medicine, and venture investing, and built Live Longer specifically to translate the most promising aging research into formulas built for everyday use.

He previously co-founded and chaired Pivotal BioSciences, a biotechnology company that developed novel cancer therapies with senior faculty at the USC Keck School of Medicine. He played a key role in the formation of the USC Institute for Integrative Health and was an early member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and the Southern California Biomedical Council.

His broader career includes leadership roles across biotech, finance, motion pictures and technology, including positions as Chairman and CEO of Peer Media Technologies, Director at investment banking firm Société Générale, and Managing Director at Laidlaw & Co. He has served on multiple public and private boards over more than three decades.

Dimitri received a B.A. from Harvard University and a Master of Science from China International Medical University. He is a member of TCA Venture Group, the largest angel venture capital group in the United States, and serves as an advisor to numerous early stage companies.

His role at Juvelixir is to make sure the science makes it into the bottle, exactly as the research supports.

Dr. Robert Heller, M.D. Co-Founder & Medical Director

Dr. Robert Heller is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with more than 60 years in clinical practice, with a particular focus on preventive care, lifestyle, and nutrition. After decades of treating patients and watching the science of aging evolve, he came to believe that the most important answers to how we age weren't being acted on yet outside of research. Juvelixir is the formula he wanted to recommend to his own patients.

Throughout his career, Dr. Heller has served as Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCLA Medical Center and helped develop preceptor programs at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the University of Pennsylvania Medical School. He has acted as Principal Investigator for major pharmaceutical companies, including Merck, Pfizer, Amgen, AbbVie, Astellas, and Moderna, and previously served as Medical Director for Brain Research Labs, where he helped develop cognitive support programs.

He has co-founded multiple healthcare and biotechnology companies, including HealthBank Corp in nutrition, Aspen Imaging in cardiology, and K_space and TensorMed in neuroscience. He has published scientific articles and contributed to books on nutrition and neuroscience, and previously served as Director of the Prometheus Foundation, an organization focused on the science of aging.

At 90 years old, Dr. Heller still practices medicine, continues to study research, and takes Juvelixir himself every day.

Dr. Terry Shirvani Master Formulator

Dr. Terry Shirvani is the master formulator behind Juvelixir. He is a doctor of naturopathic medicine and the founder of Virtuosity Formulations, a consulting firm that works with some of the most respected names in the natural products industry. With more than 20 years of experience developing supplements, he has formulated over 100 products for brands including Life Extension, Pure Essence Labs, Traditional Medicinals, GOLO, and The Chopra Center.

His career has been built on one mission: raising the standard of quality in the dietary supplement industry. He has played a leading role in industry compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and has helped multiple successful brands implement Quality Management Systems that meet the highest scientific and regulatory standards.

Before founding Virtuosity Formulations, Dr. Shirvani served as Chief Science Officer for Ideal Living Management and GOLO, Director of Product Innovation at Progressive Laboratories, Senior Scientist at Life Extension, and Director of Education and R&D at Pure Essence Labs.

He received his doctoral degree in naturopathic medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine, the oldest accredited naturopathic medical university in North America. He operates according to the naturopathic oath and the six principles of naturopathic medicine, which means that at every stage of formulation, the patient's well-being comes first.

For Juvelixir, that meant choosing clinically studied, high-quality ingredient forms and verifying every batch through independent third-party testing.

Dr. Fady Hannah-Shmouni, M.D. Medical & Scientific Advisor

Dr. Fady Hannah-Shmouni is a board-certified physician educated at Yale University, the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the University of Toronto, with multiple board certifications in the United States and Canada. His career has focused on understanding how the body's stress and hormone systems shape long-term health, an area of medicine directly tied to how people age.

He spent years as a clinician scientist at the National Institutes of Health, where he served as Director of the Office of Education's Graduate Medical Education at the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, Chief of the Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, and Genetics Inpatient Ward, and Principal Investigator of neuroendocrine genetic and hypertension disorders.

Dr. Hannah-Shmouni completed his clinical training in Internal Medicine at Yale-New Haven Medical Center, in adult endocrinology and metabolism at NIH, and in clinical biochemical genetics at the University of Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, and Metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and in clinical hypertension by the American Society of Hypertension.

He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and serves on committees with the Endocrine Society, the International Society of Hypertension, and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, where he is Vice Chair of the Pituitary, Gonad, Adrenal, and Neuroendocrine Resource Center. As Editor-in-Chief of Endocrine and Metabolic Science (Elsevier), he has authored or co-authored over 100 original articles, reviews, and book chapters on neuroendocrine, genetic, and metabolic conditions.

His specialization in the neurohormonal regulation of the stress system gives him a unique perspective on how chronic stress shapes the body over time, and how to support the systems that keep people resilient as they age. That perspective is what he brings to the science behind Juvelixir.
